The Board of Trustees of MHS is committed to the operation of an efficient system for measuring, analyzing, and improving the quality of care and services provided by MHS staff members. In order to accomplish this, the Board requires and supports an effective, agency-wide Quality Improvement (Q.I.) Program |

Latonya Murray is Director of Quality Improvement. She and her staff work with agency leaders to determine the scope and focus of performance monitoring, the dimensions of performance important to each program, and the methods used to collect, organize, analyze, and use performance data. |

The Quality Improvement Program helps staff members provide services that adhere to standards of the Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board (CCCMHB) and the Ohio Department of Health (ODMH), as well as agency-defined standards of care. This Program is also designed to help prepare the agency to achieve compliance with the behavioral health care standards of the Council on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. |

Quality improvement plans, quarterly reviews, and annual reports are submitted to the MHS Board of Trustees and to the Cuyahoga County Community Mental Health Board. Mental health services must meet Ohio Department of Mental Health Certification Standards (5122-24 through 5122-29). |
